Koraljka Kos, hrvatska muzikologinja (Zagreb, 1934), dugogodišnja profesorica i emerita na Muzičkoj akademiji Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, voditeljica Odsjeka za povijest hrvatske glazbe HAZU, urednica časopisa Arti musices (1980. – 1989.) i predsjednica Hrvatskog muzikološkog društva (1998–2001), od izdavača je dobila na poklon uz njezin 90. rođendan zbornik sa šesnaest odabranih tekstova po njezinom izboru.
U ovom je izdanju odabrala niz svojih ranijih, već objavljenih radova u teže dostupnim izdanjima, prvenstveno u zbornicima, ali ih je ažurirala i dopunila bibliografijama, a neke je i prevela na hrvatski. Osim toga, priredila je i nekoliko novih radova koji se ovdje po prvi puta javljaju, među kojima su i autoričine autobiografske skice vezane uz muzikološku struku.

Koraljka Kos, a Croatian musicologist (Zagreb, 1934), long-time professor and emeritus at the Academy of Music of the University of Zagreb, head of the Department of History of Croatian Music, Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, editor of the journal Arti musices (1980–1989) and president of the Croatian Musicological Society (1998–2001), was given recognition by the publishers for her 90th birthday with a selection of her sixteen papers.
In this edition, she has selected a number of her already published works in some rare editions, primarily in various proceedings, but she has updated and supplemented them with a recent bibliography, and she has translated some into Croatian. In addition, she has prepared several new texts that appear here for the first time, including her autobiographical sketches related to the musicological profession.
